What documents buyers usually request
For warehouse, factory and EPC steel structure projects, the document package should connect the fabricated members to the approved drawing scope. Common records include material certificates provided by steel suppliers, welding records, dimensional inspection notes, coating information, packing lists and loading photos.
SASO and SABER approval work is normally led by the Saudi importer, local certification partner or project owner. HF Steel can prepare fabrication-related records so the importer has organized technical information for review.
How to prepare an RFQ for document support
Send the project drawings, steel grade, estimated tonnage, destination city, coating requirement, packing requirement and any importer document template before quotation. If the project has a strict document format, include it with the RFQ so the workshop can confirm whether the record can be produced during fabrication.
Documents should be planned before production starts. Retrofitting document details after cutting, welding or packing can create delays, especially when member marks and bundle numbers need to match inspection records.

- Material certificate copies and steel heat references where available.
- Welding and dimensional inspection records by member or batch.
- Coating, surface preparation or paint system notes when required.
- Packing lists with bundle numbers, member marks, quantities and weights.
- Loading photos and shipment batch records for site receiving checks.
