Why Korea EPC buyers need a structured RFQ
Korea steel structure buyers often need fabrication support for logistics warehouses, industrial workshops, commercial steel buildings and industrial park projects. For 500-ton+ projects, a simple price request is usually not enough. The RFQ should describe building use, steel tonnage, drawing status, project schedule, surface treatment and delivery expectations.
HF Steel supports drawing-based fabrication and project documentation for overseas engineering buyers. The goal is to help contractors compare a practical fabrication scope, not only a basic per-ton price.
Core information to prepare before quotation
Useful RFQ files include general arrangement drawings, structural drawings, connection details, steel grade requirements, bolt and welding requirements, span information, member list, coating or painting requirements, packing method and delivery destination.
For Korea projects, buyers may also identify whether the shipment route is expected to use Busan, Incheon or another buyer-designated port. Early route planning helps estimate packing sequence, loading photos and document preparation.
Documentation support for Korea projects
HF Steel can prepare material records, fabrication inspection notes, dimensional inspection records, welding-related production records, packing lists, loading photos and project delivery documents. Where KS, KDS, KCS or project-specific requirements are involved, the final document list should be confirmed by the Korean buyer, importer or project consultant before production.
HF Steel does not claim to replace local approval, importer responsibility or project certification review. Our role is steel structure fabrication and organized document support for contractor coordination.
