Steel structure project image for Australia EPC RFQ checklist and warehouse fabrication planning
For Australia project buyers, RFQ clarity helps align drawing review, tonnage, documentation, packing and delivery planning before fabrication.

Why Australia EPC buyers need a complete RFQ

Australia steel structure projects often involve warehouses, logistics centers, industrial workshops and commercial steel buildings where fabrication accuracy, documentation and delivery coordination matter as much as the price per ton. For 500-ton+ projects, a complete RFQ helps the buyer compare a realistic fabrication scope instead of a simple estimate.

HF Steel supports drawing-based structural steel fabrication for overseas project buyers. Our role is to review drawings, clarify steel member scope, prepare fabrication documents and support export packing and delivery coordination.

Information to prepare before quotation

A practical RFQ should include general arrangement drawings, structural drawings, steel tonnage estimate, building use, span and column grid, steel grade, connection requirements, coating or painting system, packing needs and delivery destination.

If drawings are preliminary, buyers can still share available files for an early scope review. Final quotation should be confirmed after the project team aligns drawing status, steel quantity, surface treatment and document requirements.

AS/NZS-oriented documentation support

Australia projects may require project-specific documentation related to material traceability, welding records, dimensional checks, surface treatment records and packing evidence. Where AS/NZS 5131, AS 4100, AS/NZS 1554 or project specifications are referenced, the final compliance path should be confirmed by the Australian buyer, engineer, importer or project consultant.

HF Steel does not claim to replace local certification or engineering approval. We can prepare fabrication, inspection, packing and delivery documents to support buyer coordination.
